My name is Rachel (Counts) Barrett. I reside in North Royalton, Ohio. I'm deaf and I have a cochlear implant. Art is my passion. I attended The Ohio State University and recieved my BA in Art in March of 2009. I have experience in many mediums, including drawing/illustration, painting, sculpture, graphic design, and photography. Great image, Rachel! I wanted to let you know the old Mayflower Theater reopened Memorial Day 2013 under new ownership as the Mayflower Arts Center. Please visit us in person or at www.MayflowerArtsCenter.com for more information. Also, Ms. Aka Pereyma, the Ukrainian artist from Troy who painted this mural in the late 1970's passed away on December 9, 2013. She was an amazing artist and very beloved by our community.
